TPP Recruitment are excited to be working with a children and young people's charity who work to improve the lives and outcomes of young people in care by providing them a range of high-quality services.

The charity is looking to recruit a Training Officer to be contribute to the development, coordination and delivery of their training and consultancy offer.

The role will be remote and you will predominantly be home based, but there may be a need in future to travel to various locations to deliver training.

Working closely with the Training & Development Manager, and with a range of stakeholders, participants and young trainers, you will develop and deliver a training programme for professionals on topics related to children in care and young care leavers. You will work closely with local authorities to write and deliver a training programme for Personal Advisors who work with young care leavers transitioning into independent living.

As the Training Officer, you will also work directly with care experienced young people in the development and delivery of the training packages and you will help promote the training and identify opportunities to raise awareness of the programmes.

To be considered, you will have:
-exceptional training facilitations skills in person and online with good use of PowerPoint and online video platforms (Zoom, Teams etc)
-experience working in the children and young people's sector with good knowledge of, OR, a keenness to learn the key issues relating to the provision of services for children in care and care leavers
-experience developing creative training and workshop materials for professionals
