As the world’s leading independent conservation charity, we have recently launched 3 impact goals to ensure we see a world where people and nature thrive. We are now focussing our resources on climate change, food systems and thriving habitats and species. Campaigning is going to be critical to success, which is where your expertise is needed.
A member of a new team, as Senior Campaigner you will lead the delivery of mass engagement external impact campaigns. You will work closely with colleagues across departments to realise lasting change. You will lead on digital campaigning, using your creativity to engage new audiences through innovative strategy, planning and tactical execution so that we can mobilise our supporters and the wider public in support of our vital work. You will lead the development of creative ideas, content and the commissioning of films and digital experiences. We will look to you to lead projects, ensuring they are delivered as agreed, and to plan and execute content strategies across social, web and email. You will work with our behavioural science specialist to source, interpret and action audience research and insight to shape future campaigning activity, too. You will build links with community groups, potential partners and external organisations in order to maximise our effectiveness.
For this role you must have strong experience of media and mass campaigning and been involved in developing and delivering public campaigns. This experience will include producing content across digital platforms and channels. Proficient in planning, briefing and scheduling, you will be good at developing campaign narratives and messaging. You will be used to monitoring performance, sharing learning and implementing programme improvements as well as working with external partners too. Importantly, you will be adept at managing teams, ideally in a matrix environment. You will also possess excellent project management, relationship building and communication skills. A team player, you are adept at overcoming obstacles and driven by a commitment to protect and restore the natural world – our home.
