A message from our Chair
Doncaster Mind is a federated member of National Mind which provides mental health services and resources to people who need them across England and Wales.
This Federation provides great opportunities of sharing best practice and partnership working.
Our purpose is to ensure the best possible mental health and wellbeing for all residents in the Doncaster Borough ensuring we empower people who experience mental-ill health to make informed choices about how they live and recover without discrimination.
Our current Chief Executive: Alyson Scott
“I have been seconded to Doncaster Mind for two and a half years. The organisation is in a good position to grow within its own right and to work with local Minds in the area to develop the support we can give to the increasing number of people who are struggling with mental-ill health across the region.
You will have an enthusiastic staff team, a lovely building and the opportunity to work flexibly. National Mind are very supportive, and I will still be working over at York Mind so happy to answer any questions without stepping on your toes!"
We are looking to recruit a new CEO to lead our team and work with the Board to deliver our mission of providing services the promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
You are likely to have a good understanding of working in the voluntary and charity sector and the challenges that brings in the many roles of a Chief Executive.
We have recently moved to new premises in the Market Square which has now given us the much-needed space and environment to include teenagers and young adults in our service provision. This is only one of our ambitious plans for the future, so if this sounds like something you’d be keen to be part of and you have the vision, passion and drive to help us achieve our plans, please get in touch by calling Anne Symon on 07970 866924 for an initial conversation. We look forward to hearing from you.
