Chichester Festival Theatre are looking for two new members to join their successful Development Team as Development Manager (Corporate and Trust) and Senior Development Manager (Individuals).
Ahead of our 60th anniversary in 2022, this is an exciting time to join a successful theatre that is growing.
The role of Senior Development Manager (c£35K - closing date 4 Feb) will focus on leading on individual giving whilst the role of Development Manager ( £28K - £29K - closing date 24 Jan) will focus on leading our corporate and trust fundraising.

Development Manager (Corporate and Trust)
The Development Manager is responsible for leading and delivering the corporate and trust strategy to maximise all potential from these income streams. In support of the Development Department’s fundraising strategy, this role will maintain and grow income from CFT’s corporate supporters, trusts and foundations. A key element of this role is the development of corporate packages and working to establish new ways in which our partners can engage with and support CFT through both sponsorship and corporate social responsibility.
The role is responsible for the management of new and existing trusts and foundation donors. As part of cultivating and stewarding relationships the Development Manager will devise and develop donor plans for all corporate supporters, researching and sourcing intelligence to maximise fundraising opportunities.
This role is fundamental to the management and development of our existing and prospective corporate and trust relationships in support of the wider Development strategy for CFT.
The post holder line manages a Development Officer who focuses on account management for existing corporate supporters, corporate events and smaller trust applications. As part of our commitment to creating a learning and coaching environment, we have a responsibility to develop all team members to ensure we are constantly evolving and demonstrating best practice. The role will also manage a freelance Bid Writer who works on larger trust applications.
Senior Development Manager (Individuals)
The Senior Development Manager is responsible for maximising the lifetime giving from individuals to CFT via donations, campaigns and legacies through in-person, direct marketing and digital fundraising methods. The role will manage a small team including the Development Manager responsible for individual memberships, a Friends Administrator and Events Officer. This role will maintain and grow income from CFT’s individual members and donors, across their lifetime.
The role is fundamental to the management and development of our existing and prospective relationships in support of the wider Development strategy for CFT.
