This charity not only operates with total patient focus but provides a supportive working environment where everyone can develop and make a difference – Together We Save Lives.

About the role:

The Community Fundraising & In Memory Giving Lead is an exciting new opportunity for someone to join this life saving charity. This is a 24-month fixed-term role, within their brilliant Community Fundraising team, that will see you lead on developing their In Memory stewardship journey – which includes in memory donations from individuals (online and offline), fundraising in memory, patient’s families, and Funeral Directors.

Donors who fundraise in memory of a loved one are incredibly special to the organisation. You will develop and manage the In Memory Giving strategy in collaboration with the Community Fundraising Manager to grow income, deliver key objectives and ensure all supporters receive a compassionate and outstanding experience supporting the charity.

In addition to the In Memory Giving focus, you will support the wider delivery of the Community Fundraising budget, Community activity and lead on key projects.

About you:

With experience in creating and delivery of exceptional supporter journeys, you will be passionate in ensuring all in memory supporters receive an outstanding experience. Bringing with you a great understanding of relevant digital and social media platforms to enhance supporter journeys and create opportunities for more donors to support the organisation.

You will take a structured and proactive approach to achieving your objectives and managing your budget, with strong communication and presentation skills to support your work. With the ability to work collaboratively, with a diverse range of team members and stakeholders across a big team, to ensure you get buy in for your plans at all levels.

You will be deputising for the Community Fundraising Manager on occasion, leading on key projects within the Community strategy, and this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and who is interesting in moving into management.

You will be able to drive and have a flexible approach to working with the occasional weekend or out of hours event, or fundraising activity all part of the job. You will live within our region, have a good knowledge of the area, be passionate about fundraising and believe in the work of this Air Ambulance charity.
