Prospect Development Manager
Location: King’s Cross, London
Salary: circa £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Hours: Full Time

Our client is the national fundraising charity for art. They believe that art can make you see, think and feel differently, and through their work they help make art more accessible to as many visitors as possible, wherever they are.

They give grants to help museums and galleries acquire works of art for their collections, share them with wide audiences, and support the training and professional development of curators. They are a creative, agile and collaborative charity, supported by their growing membership of 139,000 through the National Art Pass, as well as the generosity of many trusts, foundations and other individuals.

In January 2022 they will launch a new 5-year strategic vision to develop all aspects of their grant-giving and invest in access to art for everyone, across the UK, as never before. They are now recruiting a new key member of the Development team to lead prospect development strategy at this exciting time, and to enable them to grow income across all their charitable activity in 2022 and beyond.

The role will shape and lead all aspects of the charity’s approach to prospect management, working collaboratively to support a broad range of fundraising – from new major funding partnerships to national funding appeals. Excellent knowledge of prospect management best practice, data management and ethical fundraising are essential, alongside a confident and clear approach to guiding colleagues, briefing senior stakeholders and monitoring and sharing progress.

This role is located at their King’s Cross office (London N1C), although a 6 month hybrid working trial has commenced from October (paused due to government work from home directive). This trial period requires staff to attend the office 6-8 days per fortnight.

Closing date: 19th January 2022
