Our client is now looking for a highly personable and skilled account manager to join the European Food Business team. This is an established team, responsible for improving animal welfare standards and developing sustainable supply chains across the global food industry. The right candidate will champion their cause, using their well-respected tools and credible resources to develop, grow and deliver science-based solutions through corporate engagement.
This is a vital role within our client’s Food Business Programme and offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact for farm animal welfare within a dynamic and influential global organisation.

The right candidate will have:

  • Have a proven track record of account management,
  • Be a strategic thinker capable of driving change externally by identifying and implementing ‘win-win’ solutions.
  • You will need to be an influencer, a networker and capable of business development.
  • Importantly, there is plenty of scope to bring your own creativity, voice, and novel approach to driving change for farm animals.

Their work is based on scientific evidence and best practice and as such they are recognised as the leading credible partner on farm animal welfare to the major food retailers, food service companies, manufacturers and producers.

About Our Client:

Our client is the leading international farm animal welfare charity, campaigning to improve the lives of millions of farm animals through positive engagement with the food industry, lobbying for legislative change and working with their supporters. Their established international Food Business programme aims to raise baseline standards for farm animals by securing commitments, ensuring compliance and facilitating implementation of higher welfare policies and practices. In addition, they aim to drive corporate meat reduction strategies and targets in line with planetary health requirements, via their newly launched Rethinking Food workstream.

Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 37 per week
Location: Godalming HQ (working remotely/flexibly may be considered also in The Netherlands or Poland)
Salary: £32,000 to £38,000 UK based salary, (dependent upon experience)

Our client is located in bright, modern offices; just 2 minutes’ walk from Godalming mainline station (45 minutes from London Waterloo). Regular international travel mainly in Europe will be required and potentially also to the wider, geographical regions dependent upon opportunities.
