The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK.  The Foundation is developing its new strategic plan for 2023-25, through a strategy refresh process taking place during 2022. The aim of the strategy refresh process is to set an ambitious and compelling strategic plan that drives impact and enables the Foundation to achieve its mission. The strategy refresh will offer us the opportunity to step back and look at how we can have the biggest impact on our mission to bring about better health and care for people across the UK.

We are recruiting for an experienced part time Administrator to support the Foundation’s corporate strategy development work, with a particular focus on administrative support relating to the strategy refresh. This is a crucial time for the Foundation as we develop our new strategic plan. The role holder will play a central role in supporting corporate strategy activities, with a focus on high quality and efficient administrative support and executive assistant support to the Assistant Director for Strategy. A key part of the role will be developing effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders, in order to effectively coordinate internal and external stakeholder engagement for the strategy refresh.

The role holder will bring experience of working in an administrative capacity i.e. providing high quality diary management and personal support within a busy team, whilst working under pressure and managing competing priorities. They will have excellent team working skills and confidence working with colleagues and external parties, alongside experience of managing meetings and events. We are looking for a candidate who is able to start work with us from February 2022 and with an interest in and desire to contribute through their work to the improvement of health in the UK.
