Company

Eardley Wilmot is a consultancy dedicated to excellence in fundraising. It does this through supporting organisations with a charitable purpose to encourage, develop and retain team members and taking great pleasure in supporting individuals in identifying and developing their skills and applying them to the cause areas in which they would like to make an impact.

All services are fundraising led with experience and expertise built up over 30 years working in fundraising and marketing in the not for profit sector; and recruitment and executive search in fundraising in large and small organisations, foundations and private/public partnerships. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch to hear more about the method and strategy, and have a look at testimonials.

EW works in collaboration with client organisations at an early stage to explore new plans and identify options for resourcing and budgeting for fundraising investment in projects.

PERMANENT

Eardley Wilmot always takes a bespoke approach, whether a multiple position Campaign or a difficult to fill role. The objective is long term results for the team – at all levels. There is much case study information to share with you about previous campaigns, their searches and methodologies, and EW is always very inspired to find out about and put together the right campaign for your organisation.

CONSULTANT

Working in partnership with organisations to identify needs, Eardley Wilmot has a carefully identified network of consultants who have become experts in their field, offering both strategic and hands on input at the right time, to form a campaign, start a new fundraising stream or develop significant growth.

INTERIM

Eardley Wilmot works in partnership with organisations at Director, Head and functional head level to identify a highly qualified individual to fit easily in to the team. This is often for a period of anywhere between a number of days over a few months to a regular weekly arrangement for up to a year. Typically, it has covered the period whilst organisations are recruiting a new permanent member of staff, when the fundraising strategy needs to take a new direction, when there is a particular knotty problem to solve, or a team member has leave due to a new baby or other special circumstances.

There are two principal ways in which EW works with organisations: to identify a highly experienced manager to act as a bridge, or to capitalise on the opportunity to bring in specialist skills and fresh thinking to complement existing work. Interims are often well known to EW and very carefully matched to the organisational need.

FREELANCE

Whether examining the feasibility of funding for a new area of trusts work, putting on a new one-off event, helping with an extraordinary workload to complete large bids and funding pitches, or an ongoing flexible arrangement as an alternative to engagement of a permanent member of staff, Eardley Wilmot can help you explore the skill base needed and discuss options from known freelancers with significant track record within a range of different cause and institution types, to ensure successful outcomes.
