The Clinical Quality Coordinator will be responsible for managing the development of our client’s guidance and quality improvement documents, ensuring that they comply with their internal and sector regulations. Proactive in your approach, you will project manage this work, liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will also take on the role of staff reviewer for the Anaesthesia Clinical Services Accreditation (ACSA) process, forming an integral part of the team visiting anaesthetic departments across the UK.

 

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role and be able to demonstrate excellent report writing and project management skills as well as proficiency in a range of Microsoft software and databases. As a confident communicator, you will be comfortable communicating with a wide audience and will be able to build and maintain excellent working partnerships. You will have excellent organisational skills and will be able to demonstrate success when working independently.  

 

You will be joining a friendly team who deliver to the highest standards therefore the successful candidate will need to be a highly motivated, enthusiastic, flexible team player and willing to pick up routine and emerging tasks to support the wider work of the directorate. The successful candidate will have confidence and excellent judgment of people and situations.

Anaesthetists have overall responsibility for patients’ wellbeing before, during and after surgery and procedures. They work across the hospital setting, in the operating theatre, A&E, critical care and obstetrics. 16% of all hospital consultants are anaesthetists and over two-thirds of hospital in-patients will see an anaesthetist.Our client supports over 18,000 members and over 4,000 from the their associated Faculties.

 

This role holder will be required to undertake a standard disclosure and barring check.
