Job Details

Ufton Court Educational Trust (UCT) is a thriving charity that aims to raise the aspirations and achievements of children and young people, especially those affected by disadvantage. UCT is based at Ufton Court in Berkshire and welcomes around 15,000 children a year for day and residential visits as well as running an outreach programme with Ufton teachers visiting schools.

The board is now seeking a Chief Executive to lead this successful charity and ensure it continues to thrive, develop and deliver vital educational programmes to those children most in need.

There are three strands to the charity’s activities:

  • Schools Programmes: Day and residential visits to Ufton Court. Children visit from schools across the South of England to enjoy activities that immerse them in history and/or the outdoors.
  • Ufton Adventure Programmes: Day, residential and outreach visits for disadvantaged children. UCT has developed unique programmes delivered in close partnership with schools to meet the specific needs of groups of children over a series of repeated visits.
  • Weddings: Over 100 weddings are held on site per year. All profits support the charitable activities.
