This is an incredible opportunity to produce work that will make a difference. Work that will save our planet. At the WWF we are stepping up to the fight for our world. Recognised as innovators in fundraising, continuous innovation and improvement is integral to our approach and we now are looking for you with your expertise in supporter or customer care to join us and ensure legacy giving continues to be a vital and growing income stream in the battle for nature.

The public are our lifeblood and as Legacy and In Memory Supporter Manager we will look to you to develop a strong and engaging 1 to 1 stewardship programme that aims to build long lasting relationships that retain legacy pledgers, manage bespoke legacy projects as well as ensure excellent customer care in the handling of legacy and in memory related enquiries. We want you to play a key role in keeping them engaged and ultimately retaining their pledge so increasing our pledge to gift ratio. This will involve collaborating with colleagues to build on and implement our legacy stewardship strategy as well as deliver its activities. You will maintain records and oversee reporting too. Important, will be the ability to ensure all activities and campaigns comply with Codes and legislation as well as brand strategy and guidelines.

For this exciting role, you must have significant experience in supporter or customer care, ideally within a legacy fundraising department. This will have given you expertise in dealing with the public face to face, by letter, email or telephone. You will enjoy working collaboratively with different teams and excel at building strong internal and external relationships too. You will be highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at the same time, as well as the ability to oversee and allocate resources effectively. An excellent communicator, you will have good interpersonal and PC skills as well as an understanding of and experience of dealing with the grief of others.

If you have the skills to attract, engage and inspire members of the public to join us and financially support our work, we would love to hear from you. Please click on the link and apply via our website by submitting a copy of your up-to-date CV and the Supporting Statement to highlight what makes you a good fit for us.

Every role at WWF is open to applications from all sections of society. We believe in the potential of everyone regardless of; sex, race, religion or belief, ethnic origin, different physical ability, family structure, socio-economics, age, nationality or citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other aspect that makes you, well you.  Here at WWF, we are committed to conscious inclusion that helps cultivate an ethos of belonging, connection and shared purpose.  We believe that the more diverse we are the better we become; this brings us together and empowers us to develop, engage and inspire; and critically to help build a future where people can live in harmony with nature.

Our policies and benefits reflect the importance of people being able to have a good work-life balance and being able to bring their ‘full self’ to work.

Our world needs you like never before. We are the first generation to know we are destroying the world and we could be the last that can do anything about it. We are looking for people who are passionate about making it politically, socially and economically unacceptable to destroy our planet’s natural resources. We need you to join us in the fight for our world.

Company

Best known as the world’s leading conservation body, we’ve seen first-hand how wildlife, the environment and human activity are all interlinked.

That’s why our passion for safeguarding the natural world has to be backed up by other environmental action – tackling the global threat of climate change (through our big global campaigns like Earth Hour) and helping people to change the way they live to ease pressure on natural resources.

WWF is at the heart of global activities in all these areas. We have teams of highly skilled professionals working with governments, businesses and communities here in the UK and around the world.
