An award-winning Education Charity who empower young people to take charge of their financial futures are looking for an engaging Education Officer to develop and deliver financial education programmes in schools and youth organisations across London.

The role will involve regular travel to schools and youth organisations across London, especially during term time. When you're not delivering, you can work flexibly from home or the London office. The role will initially be appointed on a 12 month contract with potential to be extended.

As the Education Officer, you'll deliver engaging, high impact financial education workshops and sessions to a diverse range of people aged 7-25 in a range of educational settings to an exceptionally high standard. Topics include saving, budgeting, debt, independent living and public and student finance. You do not need to be an expert in these topics, however, you will need to be committed to building upon your subject knowledge in financial education through the excellent training provided by the organisation.

You will also be involved in the creative development and refinement of the financial education programmes including face to face and digital learning.

To be considered, you'll be a creative, engaging educator with a real interest in social change and empowering young people. You will also have at least 2 years' experience of delivering learning programmes to young people which could be within a setting such as a school, community centre, youth organisation, charity, alternative education organisations etc.

In turn, you'll receive excellent training and generous benefits including a flexible working policy and a diverse working environment.

The Education Team want to ensure their staff represent the young people they work with and encourage applications from those with lived experience of disadvantage, those of an ethnic minority background and men, all of which are currently underrepresented. They will not discriminate, ensuring that each candidate is assessed only in accordance with ability to perform the role.
