If that's you, you could be the person we are looking for to realise an exciting initiative being launched by a new Foundation.

The ideal candidate for our new CEO position will be a naturally gifted entrepreneur with a passion for meaningful projects that changes lives for the better. If you were disadvantaged in early life, this may provide you with valuable insight into some of the challenges that people face, but it is not a prerequisite for the role. What counts is your drive to make a difference and your capacity to succeed.

Key details:
Role: CEO
Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 p.a.
Contract: Permanent
Location: Manchester / remote working an option
Closing date for CVs: 9am, Friday 10th December 2021
Interviews:
Stage 1: week commencing 13th December
Stages 2 & 3: January 2022

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for forming and registering the charity and building a first-class team to deliver the charity's core objectives.

Once the charity has been officially launched, you must identify, connect with, and develop relationships with key stakeholders nationally; and ensure the charity is optimised to deliver the maximum value. You will be responsible for raising the charity's profile and ensuring that the people who will benefit most know how to reach us. A high level of visibility will also be essential for attracting the right stakeholders and collaborators.

Experience & Skills:
Primarily, we are looking for someone with experience in the day-to-day running of a charity, who has been involved in a charity at the start and knows what it takes to get it going. Ideally, you also have a proven track record of successful personal, academic, and professional achievements.

As well as strong managerial skills, your other strengths include structuring and analytical skills and the capacity to set up efficient business processes and manage profit and loss.

We are looking for a highly competitive and ambitious individual, who personifies the philosophy of leaving no one behind and is driven by a passion to help others to succeed. You value independence, flexibility, and a busy lifestyle.

Most importantly, you are an entrepreneur and leader who enjoys drawing on your skills, talents, and experiences to make the world a better place for everyone.

Specific skills and experience required include:
- Superb networking and collaboration skills
- A thorough understanding of how charities are run
- Sound knowledge, and preferably experience, of how to set up a charity
- Previous professional experience in the third sector
- A solid grasp of the key principles of PR and how these can be applied across various media channels
- Exposure to a not-for-profit social enterprise would be highly advantageous
