Senior Events Officer
Home or Andover based with occasional travel

Salary £29,000 - £31,000
 
Macular disease is the main cause of sight loss in the UK today. We would like to recruit an enthusiastic Senior Events Officer with the experience to realise our ambitious goals to increase our income in order to move closer to a cure for macular disease.
 
Our annual conference is one of the ways we offer information on the latest research and advice and support to anyone with a macular condition to ensure they are able to live their best life with their condition. This role provides the logistical support for this event for approx. 50% of the time.
 
The remainder of the time will be focussed on working closely with the Community & Events Fundraising Manager and the Community & Events Team to raise funds, with particular emphasis on challenge events, including using your good knowledge of digital fundraising.
 
About you:
 
You will thrive in project managing large events, using your strong communication and influencing skills to successfully deliver projects that generate income.
 
You will be able to demonstrate where you have raised money from events, ideally with experience of income planning and analysis, and be comfortable in responding to the challenge of digital fundraising.

Very occasionally there will be work outside of normal hours for which you will receive time off in lieu.
 
This role requires occasional travel.
