Civitas Recruitment are excited to be working with a fantastic charity that promotes responsible investment. The charity aims to define the highest standards of responsible investment and to drive change until these standards are adopted worldwide. They intend to build a world-first programme aiming to transform the investment system for better population-level health. A great opportunity exists for a Senior Manager of Asset Manager Standards to join the team and help challenge and raise existing standards on responsible investment for this critical financial sector to a level fit for the challenges of the 21st century. The role will be responsible for comfortably leading high-calibre engagement with senior level decision makers at large asset management firms across global regions and contribute to thought leadership on responsible investment for asset managers and help coordinate the charity’s complementary workstreams that strategically focus on asset managers.

 

Who are we looking for?

Ideal candidates will be a passionate, determined individual that possesses experience in developing and delivering tailored engagement strategies and implementation plans. You will have excellent engagement skills helping you quickly build constructive relationships and diplomatically lead meetings that challenges the status quo. Working knowledge of the investment system and knowledge of responsible investment and ESG trends is essential for this role. Having relevant experience in the investment industry, NGO or academia would be an advantage however it is not essential for this role.
