Can you envisage a future where workplaces are inclusive and diverse?
Are you a charismatic leader, a natural communicator who can inspire change in others?
The British Association for Supported Employment is a national membership organisation which has been led by Huw Davies since its inception. Huw has is retiring in 2022 and BASE is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced person to lead and develop this small but mighty charity. You will also have overall responsibility for our trading arm, Inclusive Trading CIC.
BASE is governed by a National Executive Committee (NEC) currently comprising 10 elected regional leads, all who hold relevant sector roles, and an additional 3 co-optees with industry specific expertise and remit. The NEC has an established role in scrutinising, challenging and supporting operational staff, processes and the strategic direction of BASE as an organisation.
BASE strives towards a future where inclusive and diverse workforces are the rule and not the exception and employers are supported and empowered to reach a much wider talent pool across the disabled community.
What we can offer you
More than anything, we can offer you an opportunity to work with us to improve countless lives by working to improve employment rates for people who are the most disadvantaged in the UK economy. Are you up for the challenge?
To apply, please send your CV and a covering letter to Huw Davies at email@example.com.
For informal discussion, please contact Huw at firstname.lastname@example.org or Julia Green at email@example.com
