Hours: 21 hours per week worked over 3 days
Contract: Fixed Term for 6 months, Part-Time

Established by the community in 1977, this organisation is a busy neighbourhood advice centre in Manchester providing face-to-face legal advice and support to residents

They are recruiting a Community Information Worker to join their team delivering advice to the diverse community within North Manchester. This is an important post within the organisation. You will often be the first member of staff to welcome people to the service and you will have a key role in finding out what help people need and then helping people to resolve problems on the day or else directing them to the correct person within the charity.

You will work alongside the advisors and volunteers in the advice service. They want to recruit somebody with a basic understanding of welfare benefits, housing and debt, the ability to work well in a team and the ability to research and interpret information from authoritative sources.

The closing date for applications is 10am on Wednesday 15th December 2021
Interviews will be held remotely on Wednesday 22 December 2021
