We are currently looking for a Development Manager to join our Services Team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
 
As a Development Manager, you’ll help community organisations throughout Bristol and the South West achieve their goals.
 
Strengthening our local and regional influence and impact, you’ll play a key role in developing much needed services relevant to our members across the region and driving their organisations forward.
 
Leading a dedicated team, you’ll ensure we deliver tailored and high-quality consultancy, business advice and support to members, community organisations and other stakeholders, including local authorities.
 
You’ll build strong external relationships and partnerships and identify and develop new business development opportunities to grow our earned income and meet agreed targets.
 
About You
 
To join us as a Development Manager, you will need:
 
- Experience in designing and delivering consultancy services
- Experience of winning contracts and funding bids
- A track record of successful business development, innovation, management and delivery
- Experience in building effective delivery partnerships
- An in-depth understanding of community enterprise, community asset development, community contracting, localism and related fields
- The ability to work with members, assess needs and develop appropriate services
- The ability to inspire and motivate people
- A commitment to achieving social change
- Good IT skills
 
Demonstrable experience in developing, controlling and reviewing budgets would be beneficial to your application, as would experience in managing teams and complex projects.
 
Good team development skills with the ability to deploy staffing resources effectively and profitably would also be advantageous.
