We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Development Manager to join our Community and Neighbourhood Development team.

 

The main responsibilities will include: 

  • Effective management of neighbourhood and community development services including employment support, business start-up, strategic and operational youth and play services, and significant externally funded contracts to ensure they meet contractual and funding obligations
  • Collaborating with partners, the community and internal teams across the business to identify and understand the strengths, aspirations and challenges for communities, and tenants and residents in Wythenshawe and empowering them to act on the things that are important to them.
  • Working alongside colleagues across the business to develop and source funding, resources, and partnerships to meet community development objectives.
  • Promote the use of community assets, ensuring they are accessible to all sections of the community to better understand and deliver community development services.

     

Prior experience of a management role in the community development sector is essential
