Independent Age works to ensure that as we grow older, we all have the opportunity to live well with dignity, choice and purpose.  To achieve this we provide information, advice and connection services for older people; campaign on the issues that matter most to them around health and care, poverty and loneliness and provide capacity building support to others working in the sector.

This is an exciting time to join Independent Age as we work on our new ambitious strategy for 2021 – 2023 and increase our profile, impact and reach so more people can live a happy, connected and purposeful later life.  We want to find talented individuals from diverse backgrounds to join us on this journey.

We are looking for a Website Manager to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role is integral in providing a positive and impactful user experience of our website and will help achieve our ambition to create and deliver integrated, personalised content.

With a strong working knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, HTML and CSS you will have worked with web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), extracting data to form reports and actionable insights.  You will also have knowledge in using Content Management Systems (particularly Drupal) 

You will have a varied workload to manage along with the management of manage our web agency.

Good interpersonal skills to influence/persuade a wide range of internal stakeholders with the ability to write, edit and create audience – led content are also key for this role.
