WWT Castle Espie Wetland Centre (Northern Ireland)
Circa £33,000 per annum
This role is full time (37.5 hours per week) and will involve working on some weekends and bank holidays
Do you have a track record in facilities management within a customer focussed business? If so WWT at Castle Espie is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Grounds and Facilities Manager to join our friendly and dedicated team.
Castle Espie is home to Ireland’s largest collection of wildfowl including endeared species from around the world. Bird hides, nature walks and our sensory garden allow you to get close to nature. Our award-winning eco centre at Castle Espie includes lecture theatres, soft play, shop, art gallery and Kingfisher restaurant with outstanding views over the internationally important nature reserve of Strangford Lough.

The position requires a hands-on approach, positive attitude and experience in managing a multi-disciplinary team of staff within a customer focussed environment. You will work to support the Centre Manager in the management of the day to day operation of the Centre, with specific responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of the grounds, buildings and living collection management.
Qualified to A-Level standard or equivalent the ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in people and budget management. You will have a detailed knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and will be responsible for ensuring our team and visitor are looked after at all times.
