About our organisation

The Soil Association, formed in 1946, is the only UK charity that works across the spectrum of human health, the environment and animal welfare. That's because we cannot tackle these issues in isolation.

We campaign for change, support farming innovation, serve healthy food in communities, support and grow the organic market, and protect forests. We couldn't do any of this without our supporters, partners, donors and dedicated staff. We make a difference in the world where it's needed the most.

About the opportunity

This is a superb opportunity for a results-driven fundraiser to grow income for the Soil Association as we embark on our new and hugely ambitious strategy to 2030. We are seeking a Senior Fundraising Manager to deliver income from trusts, statutory funders, and companies focusing on our Healthy and Sustainable Diets programmes. You will work closely with the programme teams to identify and research funding opportunities and create compelling funding proposals to deliver a range of diverse and inspiring projects. You will lead a team of trust and corporate fundraisers and take the lead in developing the Trust and Statutory strategy for the charity.

About you

We are looking for a brilliant fundraiser and leader who has the skills to work with teams internally and build relationships externally to deliver a growing income stream for the charity. You'll have solid experience of raising five and six-figure donations from charitable trusts and have experience of delivering effective and inspiring corporate partnerships. You're ambitious to grow income and make an impact on climate, nature and health through the universal connecting power of food.
