Job Details

I’m thrilled to be working with a household name in the charity sector, as they recruit a new Philanthropy Manager, to support fundraising efforts in Central England.

You will be based out of the Birmingham, Leicester, or Nottingham office (with flexibility to work from home and from other regional hubs) and will have a particular focus on the East Midlands & East of England in particular. Knowledge of this geographical area will be advantageous.

I am looking to speak to an ambitious and target-driven fundraiser, with outstanding communications and inter-personal skills, who has the ability to build lasting relationships with supporters, colleagues and volunteers. Sitting within the Philanthropy function, this role is part of the Regional Philanthropy team, raising funds from Major Donors and Trusts & Foundations. You will have a personal income target of approximately £500K, made up of both existing accounts and new business, but with an emphasis on building new Philanthropic relationships in this region.

The mission- Last year, the charity helped more than 70,000 young people, with three in four young people on our programmes, move into work, education or training. They inspire and support young people, to help them reach their potential so that they can thrive and society can prosper.

Salary- £26,800- £31,700, plus a great holiday package (30 days annual leave entitlement, plus bank holidays. Office closure the days between Christmas and New Year)

Location- You can work remotely, with some travel to the office’s mentioned above for key meetings.

Contract- 12 month, maternity cover contract. Full-time hours.

The charity is looking to hire quickly, with the successful candidate starting in January. Please get in touch now!
