Location: Manchester

Salary: £37,795

2x Full time, Permanent, 35 hours a week

1x 18 month FTC

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our clients Team for an Insight/Intelligence Performance Data Analyst to join us. 

 

They're looking for someone who can own and drive data analysis to support requirements elicitation and solution design using SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, ETL, Power BI and Agile methodologies. Working in a fast-paced environment with large complex data streams, you’ll solve business problems through data-driven decision making and Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. 

 

Support their aim of being a data driven, intelligence led organisation by leveraging a deep understanding of data, statistical modelling, Aereon QL/ First Touch, SQL and business intelligence tools; in order to gain insights and improve corporate decision making. Working collaboratively with the innovation team to provide technical analysis of databases, including: Identifying table(s)/attribute(s) required, identifying table joins and limitations to consider and Identifying data quality issues.

 

They're looking for you to have excellent analytical and organization skills, with the ability to understand front-end users’ requirements and have knowledge of data analysis and modelling using a variety of tools and techniques, including dimensional modelling. Holding a degree in mathematics, Computer Science (or other relevant qualification), you’ll have knowledge of Master data management concepts / tools, Data Quality concepts / frameworks and of software development and user interface web applications.

 

You must have excellent IT abilities, have a working knowledge of Aeron QL and First Touchand in-depth experience of Excel, SQL, Power BI and the Microsoft BI stack: SSIS, SSAS, SSRS.
