Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £25,423 (10% Salary increase after 12 months depending on performance)
Contract: Permanent
Benefits: Opt-in to the auto-enrolment pension scheme or enhanced rate scheme, 25 days' holiday per year (plus bank holidays), 10% salary increase after 12 months service, dependent on work performance, family friendly benefits providing enhanced maternity, paternity, shared parental leave and adoption, Riverside Rewards scheme and app.

The difference you'll make

In this role you will be carrying out collection and arrears prevention activity to help the organisation to maximise and sustain rental income.

You will be helping to prevent homelessness and sustain tenancies, ensuring the most appropriate prevention and collection strategies are applied to the cases you own. Managing inbound and outbound telephone calls as well as other customer contact, you will agree, and monitor payment plans and collect payments; providing advice, support and guidance to customers and colleagues on the debt collection and arrears prevention processes.

We are looking for someone with experience of working in housing environment who understand our customers. You will need to be able to problem solve and have effective negotiation skills so you can manage both business and customer requirements and come to mutually agreeable solutions.
