The Opportunity

Responsible for: General Manager  

Salary: £54,000 FTE (£32,450 pro rata)

Hours: 3 days/21 hours per week

Contract: Perm

You will manage the day-to-day financial administration of the organisation and its activities including a biennial festival and non- festival programme as well as ensuring all LIFT’s statutory accounting and reporting functions are delivered effectively.

The Head of Finance & Operations has day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of LIFT’s finances including payroll, pensions, statutory accounting, financial reporting, and financial management. Working with staff across every function at LIFT this is a central role, the Head of Finance & Operations will report to the Executive Director but will be required to operate pro-actively and collaboratively across the team much of the time.

About You

You will have ambition and enthusiasm to drive change and meet the needs of an evolving organisation. An excellent communicator, with the ability to work with a range of staff across all LIFT functions, you will have proven financial and people skills, an accounting qualification and experience of analysing and reporting as well as an ability to model financial strategies.

Ideally, you’ll have strong accounting and monitoring experience (including use of software). You will know how to manage planned audits and large budgets, and you will be familiar creating management accounts, forecasts, and financial plans in collaborative ways.
