Our client is looking for someone who combines strong database and communication skills, to join their small but busy team to support their fundraising work.

Individual Giving Officer
Location: Hybrid, working from home and Central Office, Ebury Street, London SW1W
Hours: 35 hours per week
Directorate: Engagement
Reporting to: Fundraising Manager
Salary: £31,000
Annual leave: 25 days per year plus bank holidays

As Individual Giving Officer, you will play a vital role in a small busy team, providing the highest standards of supporter care to those who donate to or fundraise for the charity. You will be responsible for the majority of the fundraising administration and for all income from individuals, which includes their regular donors, legacy supporters, eventers and their Christmas appeal. You will work with their homes and services to enhance their fundraising and use their ThankQ database to ensure that accurate records are kept and donations are processed efficiently.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience of working with databases
  • Have worked in an administration, customer service or supporter care role previously
  • Be well organised, efficient and able to work independently
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be able to work well as a member of a team and foster good working relationships
  • Be proactive and able to handle a busy and varied workload
  • Understand the importance of excellent supporter care.

Their grant giving service relies on voluntary income and the support of their donors, the Individual Giving Officer is a vital role in supporting and developing their fundraising efforts through effective supporter care and donation processing.
