For 30 years, we’ve worked tirelessly to support homeless people to recover from their personal issues and break down the barriers that they face. We’re now looking for a Springboard Team Leader to join our team on a full-time, fixed term contract until 31st October 2023.

The Role
 
You will lead a small but dynamic team supporting young people experiencing homelessness and learn new skills in budget management, working towards targets and person-centred working.
 
This fixed term role at SPEAR Homeless Charity as a Team Leader works with SPEAR’s 16-25 year old homeless clients, including rough sleepers, and supports them into a range of education, employment, training and wellbeing services in the boroughs of Sutton, Merton, Wandsworth, Richmond and Kingston.
 
You will:
 
- Work in conjunction with SPEAR’s Community Development and Innovations Team Manager to ensure targets set out by funders are delivered and budgets adhered to
- Line manage Springboard Trainee Project Workers and support them in the effective delivery of high-quality support around education, employment, training and wellbeing for people aged 16-25 experiencing homelessness
- Be responsible for the oversight and training of a team of Springboard Trainee Project Workers and will also hold their own caseload of young people
- Oversee and deliver group and one-to-one support and guidance sessions to young people experiencing homelessness, around education, employment, training or volunteering
- Lead on partnership building for the project in all boroughs, creating pathways and referral routes for young people at SPEAR
 
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
