Our client is the UK’s first tenant and employee co-owned mutual housing society, with 13,000 homes throughout the local area.
They want to make sure that Rochdale is a great place to grow up, grow a career and grow older. As part of that, they're striving to deliver the right mix and quality of homes that will make their communities strong and successful.
As part of this, they plan to deliver over 500 brand-new high-quality homes in Rochdale Borough over the next five years - and that's where you come in!
They're looking for an experienced development professional to join our existing team as a Development Project Manager, to help them to deliver their existing commitments and shape their future development programme.
Using your development expertise, you will identify and manage new opportunities from inception to completion, helping us to provide a pipeline of mixed tenure projects and ensuring that their schemes are delivered successfully to provide fantastic new homes. You'll be confident at working together with colleagues and with external partners including Homes England, Rochdale Council, consultants, contractors, and developers.
You will have a detailed knowledge of the housing development process, including funding regimes, and you'll have experience of the Homes England IMS system. You'll also need a keen eye for detail and strong project management skills, and your accurate records will ensure that their scheme audit file information meets with funding requirements.
A career here is much more than just a job. You’ll be at the heart of the local community, proud to help to make Rochdale a great place to live and work. You’ll get the support you need to develop your skills and flourish in your role. You’ll have access to a great package of benefits, including a quality pension scheme, their award-winning health provider, flexible working arrangements, and an excellent annual holiday allowance. You’ll also have the opportunity to become a member of their pioneering mutual society!
If your passion for development shines through, they'd love to hear from you about joining their fantastic team.
