Job Details

Jangala is looking for a creative, articulate and passionate Fundraising Associate to help us build a future where  internet access is available to the individuals and communities around the world that need it the most.

ABOUT JANGALA

Access to the internet is a lifeline. But it is a lifeline that remains inaccessible to half of the world’s population.

Jangala is on a mission to connect every school, clinic and community resilience project worldwide, so societies everywhere can meet the challenges of today and the uncertainties of tomorrow.

We are a charity dedicated to making technology that helps people build better futures. In our first three years, we have provided internet access to over 40,000 people around the world via schools and healthcare clinics in under-resourced areas, through grassroots organisations in refugee camps and through international NGOs. By 2025, our goal is to have connected 5 million.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a proactive Fundraising Associate with a passion for social impact, a gift for expression, and a flair for collaborative working to join the Jangala team full-time and help us achieve our ambitious fundraising targets. If you’re the successful candidate, you will play a key role in helping the team connect millions of people globally in the coming years.

You will learn about Jangala’s technology, as well as our wide range of projects on the ground. A good grasp of both will be important in telling our story and expressing our needs - vital to the fundraising process.

The starting salary for this role will be £28,000, supplemented by the company wide bonus scheme of up to 20% and access to our shadow employee ownership scheme as the trading arm of Jangala is established. We plan for salaries at Jangala to grow alongside our positive impact on the world and our levels of responsibility and oversight.
