Our client is currently recruiting a Neighbourhood Area Manager to join the Neighbourhoods Team to help them deliver great housing services in Tower Hamlets.

 

You will champion your Neighbourhood Area, working closely with Councillors, communities and partners to help improve the life of local residents to ensure Tower Hamlets continues to deliver great services.  

 

As a Neighbourhood Area Manager, you will have overall management of the Stepney & Wapping and the Bow & Poplar Neighbourhoods.

 

You will be required to develop and implement bespoke neighbourhood plans, be involved in the development of the service, provide creative and innovative solutions to problems within budget, manage contracts and ensure SLAs are delivered.  In addition, you will also have direct line management responsibility for 3 team leaders ensuring staff development through coaching, appraisals, 1-1’s, performance management etc.

 

To be successful in the role, you will need to have experience of working with key external and internal stakeholders to ensure services are delivered successfully and experience of working in social housing.  Contract, financial and budget management experience is also essential.
