We’re looking for an Income Collection Team Leader to play a crucial role in helping transform lives and revitalise neighbourhoods.

Position: Income Management Team Leader

Location: Leicester

Hours: 35hours per week. The working pattern for this role is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8am-3.30pm, Wednesday's 12.30pm-8pm

Salary: £30,321 (10% increase after 12 months' service, depending on performance)

Contract: Permanent

Closing Date: 31st October

The difference you’ll make

As the Income Management Team Leader, you will Lead and manage a team of Income Collection Officers and Early Intervention Officers providing advice and support to the Income Collection Team to ensure the effective collection of income on behalf of Customer Services. You will ensure prompt and effective outcomes for the customer and business in accordance with policy and procedure to apply the right intervention at the right time, working in collaboration with Housing Services and Tenancy Sustainment Services.

So, who are you?

We're looking for someone who has experience of leading teams within a debt collection call centre. Demonstrating how you have previously lead and motivated teams to deliver results.

You will have sound knowledge of legislation, regulations and standards relating to social housing and income collection, welfare reform and Universal Credit. You will have excellent attention to detail. Being able deliver to strict deadlines and manage conflicting priorities is important.

A team player, you can work flexibly to meet business requirements and have the ability to remain calm in a pressurised environment.

Although not essential, experience of using housing management or Income collection systems would be an advantage.
