External Training Broker (Employment Support Project)

Our client are looking for an outgoing and organised person to coordinate training provided for the Springboard > Cheshire project.
The Springboard > Cheshire Project is a new project, launching in October 2021 to support people in Cheshire and Warrington who are newly unemployed and whose employment has been affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic. Led by our client, the Project will work with 2,400 people over two years.
This person will work with Employment Advisors and training providers to match participants on the Springboard > Cheshire Project with suitable training opportunities. This will include sourcing training in basic skills and advising participants on funding options for higher education.
You will be responsible for collating requests for training from Employment Advisors and progressing these through referring individuals onto courses or arranging group-sessions as required. You will need to build excellent working relationships with colleagues and partners, based on trust and confidence.
To be successful in this role, you will have a track record of coordinating training activity. You will be able to develop a good understanding of the training needs of Springboard participants, and how these fit with available employment opportunities within the Cheshire and Warrington sub-region.
The Springboard > Cheshire Project is funded by the European Social Fund, with match funding from partner agencies, and will be delivered by a partnership of seven delivery organ
