Internal Referral Coordinator (Unemployment Support Project)

Location: Warrington

Salary: £29,732

Full Time (40 hours / week)

Fixed Term Position to 30 June 2023

Closing Date: 1 November 2021

Our client is looking for an outgoing and organised person to coordinate referrals into the Springboard > Cheshire project from their key external stakeholders.

The Springboard > Cheshire Project is a new project, launching in October 2021 to support people in Cheshire and Warrington who are newly unemployed and whose employment has been affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic. Led by our client, the Project will work with 2,400 people over two years.

As local organisations begin to re-open their doors for face-to-face contact with people, this person will work with a number of our key partners to ensure that their workers know what the Springboard > Cheshire Project can offer and how to refer to it. As well as selling the benefits of the programme, the post-holder will gain feedback from partners on their experiences when referring to Springboard > Cheshire, and work with colleagues to address any relevant issues that they identify.

You will be responsible for monitoring numbers of referrals against expected numbers and feeding back to partners about the numbers of referrals they have made. You will need to build excellent working relationships with stakeholders, based on trust and confidence.

To be successful in this role, you will have a track record of delivering projects that lead to successful outcomes. You will have a good understanding of the work of their key referral partners (such as housing associations / health and social care services / community groups) so that you can work effectively with them.

The Springboard > Cheshire Project is funded by the European Social Fund, with match funding from partner agencies, and will be delivered by a partnership of seven delivery organisations.

Please Note;

  • Please bring relevant essential qualification certificates in line with the person specification for this role to your interview, the recruiting manager will review these. Qualifications must be verified before they can confirm the successful candidate(s) offer of employment.
