Finance Director

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced Finance Director to join our organisation.

Job Purpose

Working as the Director of Finance, reporting to the Chief Executive and a Board of Trustees, responsible for delivering improvements through financial reporting, decision making, and data driven analysis. You will manage all aspects of profit margin and cost management. Other elements of the role will be providing financial insights into the performance of the business, identifying risks and opportunities which can be converted into positive outcomes with a focus on building the charity’s growth.

Coordinating the work and monitoring workloads of direct reports, designing, maintaining and resourcing an adequate staff structure, undertaking performance & development monitoring against key performance indicators as required.

Key Skills

The post holder should have excellent commercial and business awareness with good analytical, strategic and IT skills. Problem solving and prioritisation along with intellectual curiosity with superior attention to detail is a necessary quality together with being a team player with excellent people skills.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years' experience in a similar role and be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).

Part time salary £42,567 - Full time - £70,000
