This charity makes sure that people living with MS are at the centre of everything they do. And it’s this commitment that unites them across the UK.

Their work is based on the hopes and aspirations of their community. Together they campaign at all levels, fund ground-breaking research and provide award winning support and information.

This charity’s people are their greatest asset and the key to their success. They offer a vibrant, progressive environment where you will make a difference.

About this job

They are looking for an exceptional person to lead the charity’s Individual Giving and Legacies programme, responsible for raising over half of the organisation’s income. Managing a team of three direct reports, and six in total, this role will be accountable for meeting agreed income, expenditure and activity targets.

As part of the leadership team, you’ll work with colleagues across the organisation to deliver their new Income Generation Strategy and keep Individual Giving at the forefront of their priorities. Working closely with the Digital team you’ll ensure that Individual Giving at this charity evolves and that Legacy income is maximised.

You’ll currently be in a Head of role, or an experienced Manager and will understand the complexities of Individual Giving programmes and legacy marketing.

You’ll have a track record of achieving substantial income targets and managing complex budgets, success in leading a team to deliver a multi-million pound, multi-channel programme while growing income across new channels, and experience of working cross-organisationally to achieve goals.

Please note this is a maternity cover for up to 12 months.

This charity offers 35 days annual leave (pro rata for part time employees) including bank holidays, travel loan and various other benefits such as supported developmental opportunities.

This charity is in the midst of an exciting, transformational, period which builds on their great history and will drive them towards achieving their mission and vision as they embark on their new strategy.
