Mission Aviation Fellowship International (MAF I) is a worldwide family of Christian organisations whose mission is to use light aircraft to bring help, hope and healing to people living in some of the worlds most isolated communities.  

We now have a new opportunity for an International Finance Manager to join our support office team in Ashford. You will work with the Chief Financial Officer to be the financial lead supporting the operations of MAF International.  The role will include assisting in the financial leadership by being a member of the Operational Leadership Team (OLT) where you will provide strategic financial advice to the team on current work and new initiatives. You will prepare the global management accounts and oversee the re-forecasting of group figures. You will also support the International Finance Manager (Improvements and Information) and the central finance team to enhance management reporting and develop finance KPIs.

You will take the lead on the global audit, including the consolidation of the group statutory accounts and advice on the use and allocation of various restricted and designated funds.

The role will also encompass overseeing the operational finance staff based in the support offices which will include performance management and training and development. You will need to maintain good financial controls in the support office in accordance with the Finance Manual.

You will be responsible for the company secretarial and similar legal matters by ensuring that all official filling including annual returns, Charity Commission returns and changes of directors are accomplished by the due dates. You will also handle changes to Articles and other official documents.
