Job Details

A great opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated Senior Fundraiser to join the Mass Participation Team for a leading Children charity. The charity s Owned Events and Products are a key tool to attract new supporters to and generate vital funds.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team and play a key role in developing these pilots into sustainable income streams for the organisation.
The Senior Fundraiser will work closely with colleagues to scale these events, focusing on improving supporter experience to increase engagement and remittance. You will be responsible for the project management and delivery of event and product marketing campaigns, meeting ambitious targets for participation and income. You will thrive on getting stuck in and taking the initiative and be an exceptional team player who enjoys the detail as well as getting to grips with the bigger picture.

Salary: 29,607 - 34,832, plus LW of 3,366 if London based or 500 if home based

Deadline:24th October at 8am

Contract: 1 year FTC

Person specification:

Excellent project management skills, with an understanding of dependencies and how to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong creative judgement and ability to articulate and deliver feedback.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to deliver fundraising pitches, ideas and activity updates to a range of audiences in a clear, inspiring and confident way.
Well-developed ability to build, manage and develop relationships with individuals within an organisation and externally and achieve objectives through these relationships.
Ability to successfully negotiate with others to achieve desired outcomes.
Proven ability to work with and through other teams and departments to maximise results for an organisation.
Well-developed numeracy skills for entering, recording, interpreting, analysing and presenting financial data in clear and accurate format.
Proven ability of demonstrating initiative and creativity to achieve desired outcomes.
Ability to collect and analyse data, identify opportunities and evaluate their viability
Ability to plan, monitor and implement projects/events/initiatives to agreed deadlines often with conflicting priorities.
Ability to organise and plan own work, identifying conflicting demands and establishing clear priorities in order to meet agreed objectives.

Experience of:
Product and/or event development
Fundraising platform technologies, such as Facebook Donate or JustGiving
Delivering multichannel marketing campaigns for events or products
Budget management
Campaign reporting and evaluation
