Our client’s  organisation is all about people – the people who live in their homes, the people in the communities they serve and the people they work with. So, it’s no surprise that they recruit for attitude and behaviour which are central to them delivering great experiences for everyone!

As a not-for-profit housing association, they provide homes and services to over 16,000 people across Greater Manchester. They have an ambition development strategy to build 1,200 new homes, work with partners to reduce homelessness and support people to reach their potential.

They employ people who are passionate about making a difference, who can take responsibility and get things done. Join them as a Development Programme Manager in this newly created role and be the key to leading, motivating and managing their development programme delivery team to fulfil their ambitious growth and development strategy.

Your role will be to lead the growth and development team in the delivery of their development programme including acquisitions, new build, refurbishment and remodelling projects.

You will have the experience to lead and manage your team to develop new homes through excellent relationship management, joint working and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

You will be motivated by the variety of opportunities in the role which will include preparing bids, site feasibility, procurement of contracts and the management of the programme delivery.

Whilst managing risks, you will ensure their programme delivers innovative, quality and sustainable developments that provide value for money and meet all their standards and aspirations.

The ideal candidate for this role will hold a relevant professional qualification and/or senior management experience in the housing field. You will be a confident communicator with proven success of providing expertise and guidance to senior management, Board and stakeholders. You will have highly developed leadership skills and a track record of delivering complex housing development projects.

This is a hugely rewarding role where you’ll really see the difference you make to people’s lives every day. If you want to be part of their team and help them make a difference, they’d love to hear from you.
