Harris Hill is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a wonderful Arts and Heritage organisation to recruit their Head of Development. The Head of Development will be responsible for securing the income and resources needed to deliver a brand new Museum, for all. They will be expected to have a donor-focused, but entrepreneurial, mindset and will have a special focus on, but not limited to, philanthropy, trusts, and individual regular and one-off giving.

This role is perfect for a major giving and trusts professional who is looking for that next step up, but it is also perfect for candidates who want to shape something from the ground up. You will be working with a small, but mighty team who value passion and creativity, but also believe in a healthy work-life balance. They are an incredibly inclusive, passionate, and wonderfully friendly team who are genuinely excited to get a brilliant high-value fundraiser in post.

To be considered for this role you will have experience of:

  • working with major donors and have examples of upscaling gifts
  • success with a capital campaign and experience of securing high levels of income in a museum, charity, or similar organisation
  • securing funding from trusts and foundations such as National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF), Arts Council or similar

Salary is £40,000 - £50,000 and this role can be part time or full time.
