  • To provide the leadership and management of the organisation to ensure that it continues to deliver, from its site, a range of inclusive services that responds to the needs of the young people, adults, and families who we support.
  • The Club is proud of the services that it delivers, and your primary role is to maintain and build upon the ethos of the club as a successful provider of services that welcome the young people, adults and families who come to us, working with staff, parents, and carers, in a happy and supportive environment and with the support of funding partners.
  • You will be responsible for the development, planning and delivery of the services provided at the Club, and will lead the planning and implementation of a programme of services and activities to meet the objects of the charity as outlined in the mission statement: “ … to provide opportunities for the personal development of young people and their families in the local community through participation in a range of water-based activities.  We aim to be a positive force for changing lives in a safe and supportive environment.”
  • Ensure that in all of its functions the Club retains its core values as a facility that: Welcomes and serves all children, young people, and other users, regardless of ability, ethnicity or gender. In particular the Club has a successful and established strategy for engaging with and supporting those with a range of differing needs. This is to be sustained and developed.
  • This commitment to inclusion puts the emphasis on engaging those disadvantaged and hard-to-reach young people and their families who can most benefit from its service.
  • Enthuse our team – two senior fulltime staff, an intern, 8 skilled and trained part time and sessional staff providing youthwork and sports instruction, and a part time administrator.
