A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented relationship manager with project management skills and the ability to identify partnership opportunities to work with the NSPCC’s Childline Board to help secure long-term fundraising and strategic partnerships. The Childline Board consists of senior stakeholders from the media and entertainment industry.
This role sits within the Volunteer Partnerships team. The team works with well connected, influential individuals who sit on one of our four fundraising boards, to develop long-term partnerships with the NSPCC and raise significant funds. Income is generated through corporate partnerships, major gifts, special events and beneficiary activity. The team has an overall annual net income target of approx. £1.5-2 million. The volunteer board members are truly committed to the work of the NSPCC and share our belief that they are part of a collective movement to fight for every childhood and influence societal change.
Since its inception in 2010, the Childline Board has created a legacy within the media industry and has raised almost £15million for the Childline service. Some successes of the board include securing support from the Financial Times, Trinity Mirror, ITV and Exterion, amongst many more.
As Partnerships Manager, your workload is very wide ranging; you will personally manage key senior supporters in the media industry. You will work alongside the Senior Partnerships manager to identify and secure new fundraising partnerships. You will be required to work collaboratively across different teams and divisions across the NSPCC, to win new partnerships and maintain success.
As the successful candidate, you will be an excellent relationships manager, able to prioritise tasks, have exemplary attention to detail as well as being self-motivated and highly organised to manage individual projects. Demonstrable experience of successfully generating new opportunities which are commercially viable, relevant and of mutual benefit is essential. Knowledge of the media industry would be desirable to succeed in this exciting role.
