Our client is a leading social and regeneration charity delivering over 500 projects each year, many of these support young people to achieve their goals, amplify their voice and get involved in volunteering and social action.  In the role of Engagement Team Leader (NCS) Colleges, you will play a pivotal role within the NCS Team in reaching out to young people.

Hours: 37.5 per week

In 2020, our client became the largest provider of the National Citizen Service (NCS) in London. NCS exists to engage, unite, and empower young people, building their confidence so they can go out there and achieve their dreams, no matter where they are from or what their background is. From the life skills they develop to the friends they make, NCS Trust’s ambition is clear – They want to give teenagers an opportunity to unleash their potential, to build their self-belief and get them prepped for life after school.

If you are passionate about young people and the aims of their programme then this may be for you to lead a team of Engagement Officers and drives and expands NCS recruitment of young people at events and promotions to schools and colleges. You will be comfortable working to contractual targets, be confident in leading the team responsible for booking and delivering promotional events and achieve sign ups from diverse groups of young people.  

The role is also responsible for managing a specialised portfolio of further education providers and oversees the direction and portfolio performance of their team of Engagement Officers.

Previous experience, Data management and ensuring team’s accurate entry to meet KPIs and reporting targets is desirable for this role.  You will also need excellent interpersonal skills to create and develop lasting relationships with wider stakeholders and the NCS Trust.
