Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full Time 35 hours per week

Salary: Circa £25,000 p/a depending on experience, plus excellent benefits package

We are the Institution of Structural Engineers. The world’s largest membership body dedicated to the art and science of structural engineering.

 

The Role

 

As a Training & Events Co-ordinator, you will undertake the co-ordination and delivery of the training and events programme, from initial confirmation through to delivery and follow up. This includes the administration and delivery of 70+ courses and webinars a year which will support the continuing professional development (CPD) needs of structural engineers and other building environment professionals. This will consist of digital and face to face events and include lectures, webinars, and courses.

 

You will be responsible for delegate and speaker communication and management, setting up and managing the web pages, the online booking process, and delivery on the day.

 

You will be part of a team of 5 reporting to the Head of Training and Events. You should feel comfortable communicating with employees across the Institution, industry professionals and third-party suppliers.

 

To be shortlisted for this post, you must have:

 

- Excellent administration skills

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills

- Excellent organisational and time management skills

- Experience providing great customer service

 

Experience working in an educational association or membership body would be beneficial to your application.
