Executive Assistant Team Manager (12 Month FTC)
London, EC4V

About Us

Money Advice Trust provides free information, advice and resources to help people successfully manage their finances. With demand for money advice consistently outstripping supply, finding more efficient ways of helping people is at the heart of our work.

Every day, our Money Advisers make a huge difference by supporting people in difficult circumstances as part of our National Debtline and Business Debtline services. These services offer practical self-help – empowering people in debt to speak to creditors directly and put solutions in place to resolve their debt problems.

We’re currently looking for an Executive Assistant Team Manager to join us on a full-time, 12 month, fixed term, maternity cover contract. Part-time hours of 28 hours per week or more will also be considered.

The Benefits

- Salary of circa £40,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
- Generous pension
- A range of health and wellbeing benefits
- Money saving initiatives
- Rewards for working in line with our values
- 29 days’ annual leave (pro rata for part-time)
- One duvet day per quarter that can be taken at short notice (taken out of leave allowance)
- The option to buy/sell leave

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant or proven administrator with outstanding organisational skills to join our forward-thinking organisation to cover a period of maternity leave.

It’s an important time to be joining us as we support and advise even more people than before in the wake of the pandemic, so by motivating and leading your teams you will play a pivotal role in being a true strategic partner for the business.

We have a strong set of values that affect everything we do: to be balanced, supportive and innovative. If these resonate with you and you are eager to support our senior leadership and management teams to make a difference to people right across the UK, this is the role for you.

The Role

As an Executive Assistant Team Manager, you will line manage the EA Team and provide first-class admin and PA support to the CEO.

Acting as the key point of contact for the senior leadership and management teams, you will utilise your strong planning and organisational skills and prioritise work effectively.

What’s more, you will share your work ethic, soft skills, emotional intelligence, professionalism, confidentiality and sound judgement, building a strong rapport with the people you directly line manage.

About You

To join us as an Executive Assistant Team Manager, you will need:

- Demonstrable experience in a similar administrative role
- Complex diary management experience
- A head for logistics (meetings, events, travel, ad-hoc requests)
- To be confident liaising with a variety of stakeholders
- Excellent minute-taking skills
- Advanced MS Office capabilities (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint), plus other software such as Adobe Pro

A background in managing people would be beneficial, however training and mentoring can be provided for the right candidate.

The closing date for applications is Tuesday 5th October 2021.

Unfortunately, due to the expected volume of interest for this role, we will not be able to respond to each application. Therefore, if you have not been contacted on the shortlist date, you have been unsuccessful on this occasion, but we may keep your details on file for future roles that may be of interest.

Other organisations may call this role Executive Assistant Team Leader, Senior Executive Assistant, Senior EA, Executive Assistant, Senior Personal Assistant, Personal Assistant, EA, or PA.
