Middlesex University is a global university with campuses in North London, Dubai and Mauritius. It works with students to ensure they can put knowledge and skills into action in the workplace, delivering courses across the arts and creative industries, business and law, health social care and education and science and technology. As it launches its new strategy, it aims to further increase its reach and tell a compelling and distinctive story about what it offers its future and current students and stakeholders.
Do you want to play a pivotal role in the next phase of Middlesex University's development, supporting the launch of its new 'Knowledge into Action 2031 strategy to prospective student audiences and driving its reputation and reach?
We are looking for a data led and creative Senior Marketing & Campaigns Manager who will take responsibility for the development, launch and ongoing management of their awareness raising and student recruitment campaigns.
You will ensure appropriate targeting and segmentation of campaigns is in place, and that these are underpinned by relevant and highly engaging content and experiences through paid and organic channels and as part of joined up innovative student journeys. The role will work across all levels of study and will develop campaigns which promote both the university and its individual departments and courses. Crucially, it will ensure that once campaigns are launched, they're continually optimised to generate impact and will support frameworks for reporting on their progress and success.
The Senior Marketing & Campaigns Manager will lead a team of marketing and campaigns professionals, and will work in a matrix structure with colleagues across Marketing and Communications groups including faculty marketing, digital, PR and student recruitment teams. You'll also be responsible for relationship management with external agencies and partners, and will therefore possess strong leadership, negotiation and influencing skills.
The Successful Applicant
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have exceptional communication and copywriting skills and strong attention to detail.
