As Community Fundraiser, you will work as part of the Events and Community team delivering engagement activity to maximise income from the local community.
The team works with community groups and associations, faith groups, schools and individuals across the London boroughs, recruiting and engaging them in fundraising activities and offering excellent stewardship and encouragement. Volunteer-led fundraising activities such as street collections are managed by the team.

You will work across the fundraising department, in a culture of innovation and collaboration, to meet overall fundraising objectives.

Person specification:
Proven experience in a community engagement role with evidence of engaging groups and individuals to take action.
Proven ability in excellent relationship management of key external audiences and/or stakeholders.
Experience of achieving financial targets and keeping financial records, producing budgets and reports.
Proven ability to work on own initiative and as part of a wider team.
Excellent communication skills including face to face, written and phone manner.
Excellent relationship management skills.
Strong writing skills with the ability to write compelling copy.
Ability to motivate and inspire colleagues, volunteers and supporters
IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft office suite and virtual meeting platforms.
Highly organised with great attention to detail.
