Change Manager
These are exciting times for the Charity, as it embarks upon an evolutionary period of improvement and development within the organisation. Embracing a new approach to strategic planning and transformation and recognising the need to invest in resources, we now have an excellent opportunity for a Change Manager to join the Business Strategy and Programme team in Sidmouth.
Position: Change Manager (Business Strategy & Programme)
Location: Based in Sidmouth, with flexible and home working considered
Salary: £40,500 per annum
Contract: 2 Year Fixed Term, starting on 1 December 2021
Benefits: Generous annual leave, pension scheme, Healthshield plan, confidential counselling service, subsidised restaurant, free parking, enhanced maternity/paternity benefits, Life Assurance Scheme, 31 day’s holiday per year, inclusive of the 8 statutory public holidays. This increases by one day each year until a maximum of 34 days is reached.

The Role
The Change Manager you will play a key role in ensuring large-scale projects of strategic significance deliver the expected outcomes and benefits by focusing on the cultural and people side of change to mitigate impacts, increase employee engagement and drive adoption of solutions.
Reporting to the Senior Project and Change Manager, your main responsibility will be:
- To create and implement change management strategies and plans for allocated change projects, which empower and prepare employees for changes to processes, systems, technology, policies and working practices.
- Lead on developing change management strategy for assigned projects, working across the organisation to deliver targeted engagement, specific to stakeholder needs, resulting in improved change capability and the successful delivery of strategically important outcomes.
- Influence and motivate staff across the Sanctuary, at all levels, including Executives and Senior Managers and work with all staff affected by the change projects to facilitate change readiness, and achieve successful change.
About You
As Change Manager, you will have a proven record of working alongside senior managers in a change management role, and of creating and implementing new processes which result in improvement. You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to handle a number of conflicting demands and timescales without compromising quality.
A recognised formal programme, project or change management qualification (APMP/Prince2/MSP/Change Management Practitioner or equivalent) and experience of working in complex multi-site organisations or in the not for profit sector are desirable.
