Our client makes sure people living with MS are at the centre of everything they do. And it’s this commitment that unites them across the UK.

Their work is based on the hopes and aspirations of the MS community. Together they campaign at all levels, fund ground-breaking research and provide award winning support and information.

Their people are their greatest asset and the key to their success. They offer a vibrant, progressive environment where you will make a difference.

About this job

Their role of Stakeholder Engagement Officer is one of 5 within their new UK wide Stakeholder Engagement team which is part of their wider Research and External Affairs Directorate.

As part of their Stakeholder Engagement team your role will be to support innovation and improvement in MS and neurology services across the UK.

You’ll work directly with Health and Social Care professionals to develop new partnerships, share good practice, promote innovation and develop resources that enable service improvement. You’ll develop and support networks of key stakeholders and members of the MS community to drive positive change.

You’ll play an important role developing resources, evidence and best practice examples to be shared via their Experts in MS Professional Network. And in organising regional and national forums, face to face and online, showcasing innovative services and best practice ways of working.

The post-holder will have experience of working in or with Health and Social Care services in any of the 4 UK Nations; experience of professional engagement; experience of developing evidence based resources and service improvement tools; as well as experience of partnership working to improve local services and outcomes for service users.

The post is UK wide, and they particularly welcome applicants with experience and knowledge of Health and Social Care systems in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

As this role covers a large geographical area they expect there will be travel, both to regions where work is being delivered and occasionally to their London office. They are happy to discuss logistical arrangements or adjustments with candidates.

They offer 35 days annual leave (including bank holidays), travel loan and various other benefits such as supported developmental opportunities.

They are in the midst of an exciting, transformational, period which builds on their great history and will drive them towards achieving their mission and vision as they embark on their Every MS Story strategy.
